One of the first house portraits I did– this was for our lovely great aunt who also happens to be our neighbor as a Mother’s Day present. My oldest would visit her daily as a kind of adopted grandmother. They would have tea parties, put on music and dance, and sit and talk for hours. We decided that she really needed a Mother’s Day gift from Rach and since we had no money this is what we gave her. She was absolutely thrilled with it.
Her house is adorable and was fun to paint. Her husband was an amazing craftsman and did all the wood and metal work both inside and outside of the house. The shutters have tulips cut in them making it a memorable house to all those who see it.
